Absolutely classic stereotypical truck stop style dinner. Where you get what you order and the waitress calls you dear. I came in early on a Saturday morning and was entertained listening to the old guys at the table next to me telling jokes and talking s#!.

Just what we wanted for a typical Midwest lunch. The pie is huge and my spouse and I split a piece of sour cream raisin. Good portion size. Truck stop coffee. The service was quick and polite.

I would have dined in but I arrived shortly after 9 with them closing at 9:30 I had to take away. My choice off the menu was “Liver & onions” with two sides being baked potato and side salad. This was an amazing 9.99! The liver was cooked perfectly sweet, fresh, large portion, the potato was quite possibly the biggest Russet I’ve received in a restaurant and the salad was perfect. O I am certainly coming back! There was lots on the menu to choose from and I’m looking forward to trying the breakfast options! I wish I had taken a picture of the liver & onions for you to see but I wolfed it down before I thought of it.

Wow finally found a great place. Waitress was just as good as I was when I was a waitress. The food was excellent, prices great and my coffee cup was never empty. Thanks for old memories of a homecook meal. We will definitely go back.
